Importance of a Roadside Emergency Kit

Being prepared for any situation is smart when it comes to traveling. It makes no difference if the traveling is a short or long commute to and from work, or taking a family vacation. Keeping a roadside emergency kit in your vehicle is important.

Vehicles today are made and run well. But there are times when you find yourself needing to pull off on the side of the road because your instrument cluster shows there is something wrong. Now is the time to pull off the road to find out what the problem is.

If you are low on oil, hopefully you will have stowed in your kit an extra quart of oil or two. If you have run low on engine coolant, you should've packed an extra container of pre-mixed coolant to add to your engine.

Being prepared for any emergency is smart even on short commutes or trips!
