This morning we learned via a press release from Dodge that, according to social media analytics company, Shareablee Inc, Dodge Brand is still the number one mass market automotive brand on social media. The latest report covers the first three months of 2016. Dodge held the number one spot throughout 2015 as well.

To determine the rankings of the top ten brands on social media, Shareablee measured the total number of interactions with automakers' posts to social media platforms Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Through the leveraging of culturally relevant moments in time, and frequent calls to submit user-generated content using the hashtag #ThatsMyDodge, Dodge was able to accumulate 5.2 million interactions from January 1 through March 15, 2016; more than double the actions of the second-ranked manufacturer.

“It is great to see Dodge recognized as a fast riser on social media,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, FCA – Global. “Having a strong social presence is an important part of our marketing strategy for all our brands. We strive to deliver content that is true to each individual brand persona, is relevant and evokes a reaction from our followers.”
