If you've been following Jeep Brand's YouTube channel, then you've seen the "My Jeep Story" series. A platform for Jeep Brand fans to share their trips and experiences from behind the wheel of a Jeep , we've heard from music superstars, rugged off-roading veterans, and even some Jeep Brand engineers. However, this week's "My Jeep Story" is a truly special one, particularly because it's ongoing.
Two years ago, Wrangler owner Dan Grec set out on an epic quest. Departing from his home in Calgary, Canada, he drove practically to the top of the world in Alaska. Then, having no doubt seen enough snow for a lifetime, he decided to simply drive to the bottom. If this sounds like a scene out of Forrest Gump, you're not wrong to make the comparison, because Grec says his Jeep Wrangler "never broke down", it just kept running. He reached the southern tip of South America in roughly two years time, having navigated some truly treacherous terrain along the way.
Now with his own modified Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, Grec hopes to make another epic trip, circumnavigating Africa by land. Yet despite the fact that he will face some of the toughest driving conditions known to man along the way, Grec is confident that he and his Wrangler Unlimited are up to the challenge. Grec's journey is not just epic for him, it's epic for Jeep Brand, and a true vindication of the ruggedness of its vehicles. So, if you'd like to get behind the wheel of a globetrotting Jeep Wrangler Unlimited like the one Grec drives, visit us at Clinton Auto Group for a test drive today!
